With genuine love of languages and cultures at St Anne’s, families are supported to grow multilingual children who can walk between cultural worlds. We love languages and cultures, and our community knows multilingualism offers enhanced cognitive abilities, improved communication skills, greater career opportunities, and a broader cultural understanding, and they want this for their children.

We offer a bilingual English / Māori and a bilingual English / Samoan pathways. Our classes are smaller and our achievement higher in all curriculum areas in our bilingual rooms. Alongside this, we support, as much as we can, a child to hold, use and love their own culture and language that they may come with. Many of our students are from the Pacific Islands, the Philippines, India, and Africa to name a few.
