EXCITING TIMES –  Our roll hit an eight-year high earlier this year and is looking to be at a 15 year high in the next year due to the roll growth of late.  We are close to capacity at the moment so we are looking at making a seventh class for term four to reduce class sizes. We are just confirming things at the moment but wanted to give a heads up to the junior rooms, that we are looking to make a fourth room (using Room 4 as a classroom as it was intended).

With smaller numbers in each class, teachers can give more attention to all students and students get a far better education. 

I will confirm what is happening in Week 10 and which students will be moving class.  We will aim to make a smooth transition and the classroom will be organised and readied over the holiday break.

Kidsbase will continue, but like the rest, we are just sorting the details.

KORU GAMES – Our Year 7/8 students are competing in the SI champs this week.  All the best to them. Keep an eye on Facebook. We have won four titles in the last three years in volleyball.  Hopefully, we can add to these this year.

SPEECHES – This will be held on Wednesday (a week today) at 2.00 – 3.00pm.  We will endeavour to record these for parents that are working. If your student is performing, you will be notified.

ROADING – It is great that we are getting flashing school signs along with the lowering of the speed limit in Woolston next year.  Thank you to Linwood-Central-Heathcote Community Board for approving these!
